Trial was a Belgian heavy/speed metal band that released an EP, Scream for Mercy, in 1985 and then disbanded.
Two of the members, Metal Gunny (bass) and Marc Vereecken (drums) teamed up with some ex-members of the band Explorer and formed the crossover thrash band Dead Serious.
