THORA has been called the Gothic Metal discovery of the year by the press. Indeed, magazines like Orkus, Zillo and Sonic Seducer are full of praise and feature extremely positive reviews about this Aachen-based band which already formed in 1999. Only few bands manage to combine musical class, versatility and charisma to a degree that makes them stand out from the crowd.
THORA definitely can be called such a lucky exception. With their second album Total World Paranoia, worthy successor to the debut feature Cross Nailed, they convince with strong melodies, eclectic song structures, fat riffs and intoxicating vibes.
