The Skeptix is an English UK82 / punk rock band from Stoke On Trent in Staffordshire, originally active between 1981 and 1984.
The band was orginally formed in 1978 as "The Vermin", then changed it in 1980 to "Chaos". In 1981 the band adopted its final name.
The Skeptix disbanded in 1984 but later regrouped.
