The Rift biography: We like making rock n roll. Music has gotta to be from the heart and from your bones, all of our songs are written with this in mind. Sometimes great things can come out of a tragedy and that was how we began as musicians. We turned to music during a dark time in our lives and we've been rocking out ever since. Traditionally, a rift is an open space. It’s a place of possibility and promise. Los Angeles hard rock trio THE RIFT lives up to its moniker. Bassist JOHN ANAGNOS says, “The name is the best way to describe the band, what we do, and the experience we portray live.
