Taish, short for Thoughts About Ideology Society Honesty, are a melodic death metal band from Vienna, Austria. They formed in 1996. Following a shift in direction from gothic rock/metal sound towards death metal, the band released a demo in 1999, followed by the full length album "The End of the Trail" in 2000. Eight years passed before releasing their next release "Footprints".
