Stormborn is a power metal band from London, United Kingdom. Andy, Dave and Laurence – after years playing together (musically) – formed the band that would eventually grow to become Stormborn. They were joined by Carl and Steve towards the end of 2011, and immediately began production of their debut self-titled album, which was mixed and mastered by Mat Hyde, who worked with the likes of Slipknot, Bullet for My Valentine, Machine Head, Trivium, etc. and was released in December 2012.
The band has become well known for their live show that brings together years of experience, receiving raving reviews from each and every event. In their first year, the band wound up playing Bloodstock Festival 2012 alongside Alice Cooper and Machine Head.
