Sarpanitum is a death metal band from Birmingham, UK. They formed in 2003 by Andy Techakosit (Vocals/Bass) and later Jack Galbraith (Guitar/Vocals) joined the band and with their music heavily required into death metal with Nile-esque lyrics in Babolyanian Mythology the band set out to record.
The then two piece band recorded a two song demo in 2003 called "The Agushaya Hymn" which was met with a drum machine doing blasts and technical fast fills with the companying slaughter of the thrashing guitars and growled Suffocation-type vocals. The band reached in and required a drummer Barry French (Drums, Now in Tenebrous Aeon) and another Guitarist Jack Galbraith (Dark Earth (UK)) taken the bands completion.
However, this did not last long and Barry French was replaced with Phil Mosley (Drums, Now in Screamin' Daemon) to record their 2004 demo. Yet, the band yet again went into line up changes with Andy
