Sage's Recital is a multi-national (Denmark / United States / France) neoclassical metal act led by guitarist Niels Vejlyt. The original line-up also included vocalist John West (Royal Hunt, Artlantica, Artension et al), bassist Franck Hermanny (Adagio, Operadyse), drummer Jakob Vand (My Empty Room, Infinity Overture), Henrik Brockmann (Evil Masquerade, Royal Hunt) on choir duties and Anne Karine Pripp also on vocals.
The band released their self-titled debut album in 2013. Their line-up was later reduced to a trio consisting of Vejlyt, West and Vand by the time of their second album, The Winter Symphony, in 2016.
