Reflux is a melodic progressive metalcore group from Washington, D.C., formed in March 2002.

Reflux's music centres around shredding, technical guitar work and highly political, socially-conscious lyrics.

The band's first album, The Illusion Of Democracy, was released in 2004. Since then, they have toured extensively throughout the United States and Canada, and have opened for bands such as Hatebreed, Dying Fetus, and Strapping Young Lad.

Reflux are currently on something of a hiatus, stating some time ago that they did not wish to rush their sophomore album.
