R. Tragedy is a metalcore / rapcore / post-hardcore band from Tasmania in Australia, formed in 2015.

"An experimental metalcore/electronic band founded by Damon Hays (Marry My Death) in 2015 and consisting of Damon Hays and producer Jeyzeus.
After Marry My Death’s disbandment, Damon saw the opportunity to expand on the R. Tragedy character he created during that era with a solo project titled "The Codeine Chronicles" in 2016.
Shortly after physical copies of the record sold out, he got to work on two digital EP's and a second full length record "T.O.L.O" was released on Christmas Day 2017.
He went on hiatus for 11 and a half months before announcing that a new album was in the works with the addition of critically acclaimed producer/songwriter Jeyzeus."
