QUAOAR is a progressive / experimental metal quintet from Bilbao in Spain. The band comprises of Josu (guitar), Hugo (guitar and vocals), Bjorn (drums), Inigo (vocals) Aitor (Bassist).
In 2007 Quaoar released their first album called "Man't", receiving great feedback and enjoying commercial success in Spain and the USA, Italy, Germany and the Nordic countries. Quaoar’s second album "The River & The Soul" was released in 2011.
Quaoar's influences are wide and range from progressive metal bands Opeth, Porcupine Tree and Tool to the classic rock of Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, taking in Pearl Jam, Jeff Buckley and others. {Biography edited from LastFM}
