Profetus is a Finnish funeral doom metal band formed in 2006 in Tampere by A. Mäkinen and & S. Kujansuu. Musical influences range from classic Scandinavian funeral doom acts to underground black / death metal.
The band's debut album, Coronation of the Black Sun, was released in 2009.
