MOMBU picture
Mombu is an avant-garde jazz band that draws on grindcore and hardcore from Italy.

Mombu was formed by Luca T. Mai, the baritone sax player from Italian avant garde metal band "Zu" and Antonio Zitarrelli, drummer from the Italian trio "Neo" .

Mombu aims to create a unique musical chemistry, mixing African rhythms with jazz, hardcore and metal. In the words of the band, “the monstrous afro / grind Mombu, will mesmerize like a purifing voodoo”.
