KOLLWITZ picture
Kollwitz is a sludge metal band from Bodø in the north of Norway, formed in 2006.

The band’s line-up featured musicians from the local area; Stian Hansen on drums, Torbjørn Hafnor on bass, Endre Njos and Thomas Hanssen on guitars, Frederik Hillestad and Jørgen R. Holmen on keyboards/vocals. The band collectively moved to Oslo in 2007 and in 2010 delivered their debut album, “Like Iron I Rust” on the Norwegian label Fysisk Format. The music is heavy, hardcore-based, experimental sludge metal.
