Junius is a post-rock / alternative rock / post-sludge metal / alternative metal band from Boston in Massachusetts, formed in 2003.

Junius' name comes from the pseudonym of an 18th century British political writer.

The band's influences include Sunny Day Real Estate, Cursive, Failure, Hum, Deftones, Mogwai, Hot Water Music, Tears For Fears, Philip Glass, and At The Drive-In.
