"Juan Bond is an Experimental Mathcore band from New York City. Self described "Overcast Chaos" and once likened to "experiencing halloween on methamphetamines" the band breaks from the straight forward intensity of the mathcore style with creepy, ethereal breaks as well as using an electric violin in place of the usual second guitar. While having influences of bands like Dillinger Escape Plan, Meshuggah, Converge, Botch, etc., they are also heavily influenced by avant-garde classical, art-rock, and experimental artists such as Fred Frith, Frank Zappa, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Carla Kihlstedt, John Zorn, Nels Cline, and others."
