Frozen Mist was born in in February 2004 after I, Darkj, was outside smoking a cigarette in the cold, brisk, snowy weather. Frozen Mist started as a gothic metal solo prject and has then evolved thru the years, changing styles with different varying and unique dark metal attributes. To this day, Frozen Mist remains as the ONLY extreme metal band in Lycoming County, PA.
Frozen Mist started off as a basic gothic metal solo project in February 2004 by me, Darkj, because I felt a need to write music and to support the metal scene by utilizing PC programs to compose the music, since I don't own any instruments anymore. Musically & lyrically, Frozen Mist is a genre of music that I have classified as "Dark Melodic Fantasy Metal."
