Erupdead is a deathcore band from Basel in Switzerland, formed in December 2007.

The band was formed by five active longstanding members of various regional bands that have been brought together in Erupdead. A preference for harder sounds from death, black, thrash, hardcore and grindcore along with common friendship unite the band. All members contribute to song-writing.
After the 2008 demo "Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia" was released, the band followed with the 2009 EP, "Deadend ", which received strong reviews.
Two tours and many other concerts played at the end of 2010 and in early 2011 was followed by the first full length CD, "The Human Progress". The album was recorded and produced in the band’s own HoFucker77 studio. The mastering took place in the FistStudio in Titterten (Switzerland).
The Human Progress was released on the label " Czar Of Crickets.
At the end of 2011 Erupdead was selected
