Death Fortress is a US black metal act. Initially formed as the one man band of J. Aversario and releasing the demo Pulling Ancient Stone (2011) and EP Mirror into Eternity (2013), the line-up was then expanded to a three piece with the addition of T. Warrior (bass, vocals) and S. Eldridge (drums), with J. Aversario continuing as guitarist. They released their debut album Among the Ranks of the Unconquerable in 2014.
In 2016 Death Fortress released their second album, Deathless March of the Unyielding.
