Catch The Sun is a progressive metalcore band from Novgorod in Russia, formed in 2009.

The band was formed in summer 2009 in Nizhny Nivgorod by guitarists Alexander Gorin and Kirill Sumachev. Together they started writing progressive/metalcore/deathcore material.

In the end of 2011 they invited their friend, a former of Tell Me a Fairytale, Andrey to take part in their project as a vocalist. And then Denis joined the band as a bassist.

On May 23, 2011, the band released their first single "Conquest".
