AMERICAN TRAGEDY picture
American Tragedy was a metalcore / post-hardcore band from San Diego in California, formed in 1998.

American Tragedy released a nine-song demo in 1998 followed by a split release with The Cause in 2000. A 7" EP followed in 2001.

In 2002 the band released a split with As I Lay Dying, before disbanding in the same year.

American Tragedy shared the stage with such acts as Converge, The Hope Conspiracy, Poison The Well, Over My Dead Body, Buried Alive, Ensign, Countervail, Carry On, Martyr A.D., Darkest Hour and more…
