Hailing from Memphis, Tennessee, Alamo's style and sound is that of a southern hard rock similar to that of early ZZ Top with "heavy on the Hammond" riffs and solos reminescent of Bloodrock and Atomic Rooster along with some extended instrumental "jams" to that of the Allman Brothers.
