ABYSSE picture
ABYSSE is an instrumental progressive metal / post metal band from Cholet, Pays de la Loire, France. The band was formed in 2004, releasing their demo EP in 2006 with Jérémy Cas on bass, Sebastien Pineau on drums, and Vincent Barbaud and Geoffrey "G Free" Veron on guitars. An EP, De Profondeur en Immersion was released in 2007 with a third, Le vide est forme, released in 2008.

After the self released Le Vide est Forme , the band engaged in a long period of touring, while working on the debut album. After three long years of writing, the debut album, En(d)grave was released in April 2012.
