    Anyone watched Shōgun  on Disney+? I haven't read the books and the series apparently changes the chronology a bit to fit the story into ten episodes, but it was really good. Loved it.

    Ha brilliant You can't really tell from the photo below (it was just a snap taken without any thought) but it shows the arrangement. Maynard was further back than the drum kit and apart from asking people to put their phones away ("cos if you can't do without them for two hours you have a fucking problem") at the beginning and telling them they could film the last song at the end, there was no real interaction with the audience. Musically Tool were brilliant and the background graphics really worked, but Maynard is no Bruce Dickinson (or most front-men/women I can think of) in terms of style.

    They were really good but it was very much a heavy prog concert rather than a usual metal gig. No harsh vocals across the two hour set ;-)
