Never heard this demo song before, but it's awesome. Can see why it didn't end up on Cowboys as it's more on the Power Metal side than the Cowboys one, but I can hear a bit of what would become This Love in there.

I can see how it wouldn't quite fit, but there are definitely CFH elements in it.

It's quite overwhelming in one sitting to be honest. I don't think I'll manage it too often.

You want to line up the FK discography - literally takes forever. Was listening to this opus earlier. Just checked - 153 minutes. |

I had all the Blind Guardian discography downloaded at one stage, but I don't remember this one, and haven't rated it.

Great album. Some of their longer (double CD) albums could have benefited from some quality control but there's nearly always much to enjoy though their recent albums don't hold up against the classic stuff like Space Revolver (my favourite), Flower Power and Stardust We Are.

Before:
Now: My Dad passed this one to me to check out. I've not heard a full album by the band before. I will say that I absolutely hate that track of theirs with all the yodelling on it. Hocus Pocus I believe it is.

Hocus Pocus by Focus. Helloween covered it on their Metal Jukebox album. Focus also did the theme song for Saxondale (Steve Coogan comedy about an ageing roadie/exterminator). |
