I'll include up to two releases per artist again.
Have 12 so far, plus a few extra nominations that can be used to make up the number if needed. Sub-genres are fine, though lets not rule out doing any sub-genre specific ones at some point.

Six more required, or I can fill a few slots with the extra ones mentioned.

I suppose SOAD Toxicity should be there?
Did we say we were including child subs or saving those for future lists? I vote the latter but am relaxed either way. |

I think we've got some nu and funk already included in this, and even one album we actually have tagged as Avant. Doesn't mean we wouldn't do lists for them as well, although I for one would be about as useful as a chocolate fireguard in regard to picking albums for nu, funk or rap metal.

I've got 20 now and will be posting it soon. Keep the last albums mentioned in mind for a second round after we've been through a few other genres.
Perhaps let's go classic this time: Heavy Metal. But let's try to make it interesting and avoid the major acts that we'll fight over which two albums should be included: so no Maiden, Priest, Sabbath, etc. And for the sake of how much it crosses over we'll also say that most things tagged as USPM here will also be allowed. I put forward: A Sound of Thunder - The Lesser Key of Solomon Dark Forest - Dawn of Infinity

I'm actually having a lot of trouble picking only 2 - narrowed it down to 5 or 6 and I'm going to wait to see if somebody else posts any of them first

For my money Iced Earth is a major band. Maybe not Maiden or Priest big leagues (which would indeed include Motorhead), but close. I also think they're mostly too far into the actual power metal side to completely fit with what I had in mind for this, but I expect we'll do USPM on its own at some point as well, for which they'd be eligible for.
