^ I was very impressed with that album but haven't played it for a few years. Too much music and not enough time unfortunately.

A lot of people compare it to "Nespithe" by Demiliich, but although I can hear some similarities, I think this one is pretty different actually...but it´s my type of murky abstracts, although still understandable and old school death metal

http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/demonical/servants-of-the-unlight I´m not a huge fan of Centinex, so I´m a bit surprised at how much I like this album. Although several of the members play in both bands, Demonical are a different kind of beast. |

I´m a huge fan of the first two Cathedral albums. The albums where they had two guitarists. After that...my interest cooled.

Damn, man! These guys sound awesome! A bit similar to Bot Thrower, true...but they have enough of a difference for me to really dig them. Edited by Psydye - 06 Mar 2024 at 3:48pm |

https://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/judas-priest/invincible-shield Only a few tracks in so far but hearing lots of good things about this one and Rob still sounds fantastic at 72!

I'm currently working my way through their work. The only one I actually own is Supernatural Birth Machine which I got in a second hand shop. Seems to be thought of as their worst album. I like it though, but would say the first three are better. Not got further than that yet although according to my Last.fm I've played The Garden of Unearthly Delights in the past. I don't remember it though.

I'm not that big a Priest fan myself, outside of Painkiller and a few isolated tracks here and there, but this is very good. Definitely their best in quite some time, especially Panic Attack, the title track and As God is My Witness.
