I was raised a Christian and I consider myself one at heart(but have been disillusioned with it mainly because I do not agree with much of the core principles of the evangelical movement/religious right) but a Deist/Agnostic in thought in action who has always found a fascination in the occult, paganism and satanism(even though they are not one and the same).

As purely fictional literature, I find the Old Testament to be a very interesting read. I've read the entire Bible in the last year (as an atheist the entire time ) and I did enjoy some of the stories.It's absurd to believe there's a grain of truth in those words, and if they actually are true, then the Judeo-Christian God is an immoral being who abuses his powers. It's really funny how many people consider him to be an "all-loving God" and completely disregard the first half of their own holy book. |
