I really like Dirt, but Facelift kicks its ass. I'm probably the only one who would've loved if they kept their glam metal influences, Put You Down and I Know Somethin' are songs Guns 'n Roses wishes they made.

I went to review it once and ended up turning it off and reviewed something else instead. |

^I find this very overrated too. I thought I was the only one.

Finally heard all of this for the first time ever. Just like I thought would happen, I didn't like it.

Post away. The only person that ever pissed off was LittleBig and he got himself banned a couple of weeks ago.

I usually won't post about promo albums anymore, to avoid the whole teasing factor of it (unintentional as it usually is) but this one I just wanted to confirm, that yes this thing really does exist: They really did make seven different albums in different genres. I'm up to album 5/7 so far (finished the Hard Rock, Disco, Prog Rock and Heavy Metal albums, and now on the AOR album, with Thrash and Industrial still to come.) Surprisingly, I'd say the heavy metal album felt the weakest and least inspired, while the rest has all been great. Prog Rock and AOR are unsurprisingly my favorites so far, but the Disco one was also consistently engaging the whole way through and quite a lot of fun.

Seems very tame, more so than the last one, but still quite good. They'll never match Blazon Stone again, as far as their classic sound goes, but they can still make some pretty fun heavy metal, with very minor power metal elements.

The whole concept is actually pretty cool. The lyrics are real life letters from British world war 1 commanders to the families of the fallen. Edited by UMUR - 27 Oct 2021 at 3:01pm |
