Seeing as I've entered into an unexpected thrash phase, seems a good time to revisit Metallica, an old favourite that perhaps shamefully, hardly ever leaves my shelf these days. I intend to revisit the whole discography from start to finish (although I actually listened to Ride the Lightning yesterday, I'll listen to it again since it was always my favourite). That includes the non-thrash albums. I honestly don't think Load and Reload have left their cases since around the time I first got them, seeing as I was disappointed with them back then. To paint a picture at how long ago that was, I was in secondary school. I've done three years apiece in both college and university since then, as well as a year out after school and this last year's fruitless search for a graduate position in computer programming.

I barely remember a damn thing about those releases, so this should prove interesting.

Its always interesting to re-visit albums that you havent listened to in a long time. Sometimes its a positive surprise and sometimes not.
