Probably not of much interest to anyone else but the few of us who understand Danish. Not much of a rap guy myself. In the very early nineties I listened to acts like Ghetto Boys, Ice Cube, Ice-T, Onyx and N.W.A. and Ive actually had thoughts about digging out some of those albums again, to see if nostalgia hits me, but itll probably stay at the thought.

Anyway, is it wrong for me to think that the term "bum rush" meant "ass rape"?

Danish rap has really gone down the drain. I dislike most Danish rap artists who came out since the mid-90s. Most of it is poser crap. |

While I can't ever imagine enjoying rap as a whole more than metal, prog, and jazz, I enjoy quite a bit of acts in the genre. A few of my favorites are Wu-Tang Clan, NWA, Big Pun, The Fugees, 2Pac, GZA, and Public Enemy. And you're probably right about the language barrier issue - rap music is extremely dependent upon lyrics, and most of the charm would be lost if you can't understand a single word. |

Most rap past the mid-90's from anywhere is commercial-oriented, poser trash. |

Yeah, I expected them just to add some pop band or something into the archives. This was pretty hilarious.

On April 1st, 2009, they added Korn to the site and the moderators staged some arguments about the inclusion on the forums. As for this year's joke, it would have been more convincing if they disabled the forums as well. |
