Danish rap has really gone down the drain. I dislike most Danish rap artists who came out since the mid-90s. Most of it is poser crap.

Probably not of much interest to anyone else but the few of us who understand Danish. Not much of a rap guy myself. While I can't ever imagine enjoying rap as a whole more than metal, prog, and jazz, I enjoy quite a bit of acts in the genre. A few of my favorites are Wu-Tang Clan, NWA, Big Pun, The Fugees, 2Pac, GZA, and Public Enemy.

And you're probably right about the language barrier issue - rap music is extremely dependent upon lyrics, and most of the charm would be lost if you can't understand a single word.
