Right now I'm more bothered about the disc that is stuck inside it. My player is still under warranty so LG is legally obligated to either fix or replace it. But they have no obligation toward what may be inside the player...

We have a lot of these pop-up electrical shops run by tech-savvy kids on the outskirts of town. They seem to have an unending supply of power packs and cables at next to no price. Obviously a common issue with appliances. At least you've now got more free time to get those black metal new releases on here

You see more bands than hours I put in at work, Jonas. Only know them from a CD of A Force Unstoppable, which I picked up a few years ago in a charity shop. It's a cracking little album.

Nope, dead as a door nail. And no other power supply in the house fits to see if it's just that which is the problem.

Technology is a nightmare. Not surprised you're fucked off. I don't suppose it's righted itself yet? You should have stuck with the old Betamax

Went to see Dawn of Demise last night. It´s always a great pleasure to Watch them play. Great humour and tight musicianship.

Oh I don't believe this. My blu-ray player just died after under a year and with a rare disc now stuck inside it that I literally bought today after almost ten years of searching. and fucking Friday night and unlikely to hear from Customer Support until Monday. Seriously fucked off.

Went to see this lineup on Thursday night:
Abbath
Vltimas
1349
Nuclear
A pretty decent show although I´m not much of a Black metal fan. But Nuclear played straight up old school thrash, which I can always relate to and the reason for attending the show in the first place was Vltimas. I saw them on Copenhell last year and they were just as convincing this time around.

Moved to Effort, Pennsylvania. It'll be nice for a change of scenery(and for my mom to stay away from the drugs).

I couple of nights ago I went with my wife to see this lineup:
Volbeat
Baroness
Danko Jones
My wife loves Volbeat, so I went to please her, but it actually turned out to be a really great show. I was impressed by the variation of the show, and how professional Volbeat are on a stage. It was 11 years since I saw them last time, supporting Megadeth, and back then I didn´t think much of them. But they´ve definitely grown since then.

If you're interested in Sonic the Comic you can read all the issues online here (the early ones had other comic strips based on Sega titles as well): https://readcomiconline.to/Comic/Sonic-the-Comic/Issue-1?id=61820
Found this some years ago when on a nostalgia kick.

^Ah. Yeah I'm not too familiar w/ the UK's 'Sonic the Comic' but wouldn't mind checking them out sometime though. I'd probably prefer the Archie one anyways though as I grew up watching Sonic SatAM(the best of the 4 Sonic cartoons imo; the other 3 being Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Underground, and Sonic X) and the Archie one was based around that...or something like that(not sure which came first, the comics or the show). In any case, pure nostalgia!!

A few. We could get those American comics imported here in specialist shops, but I would have to go to another town to reach such a place and they weren't that cheap (that I recall). I always liked the UK Sonic the Comic much more though. It had a faithful but highly unique continuity that was a lot darker at times than any other Sonic media offered up, most of all its iteration of Super Sonic, who was basically evil incarnate. An example cover: Sadly Sonic the Comic went into pure re-print after adapting Sonic Adventure (a telling I still maintain was better than the game itself), but it maintained a loyal fan following who continued it for years online (maybe even still do). I just never felt the need to pay all that extra for the Archie comics when I had access to this. Not to mention that as a kid I didn't have the means to visit the one shop that sold them with enough regularity to keep up with every issue.

I guess it's possible that it was all planned, I think similar has happened before. I've never really been a Sonic fan, only really played Sonic 3 (I think that was the one) as a kid and watched a few Sonic X episodes when there was nothing else on, so I just see it as another mediocre video game movie, but maybe I'd feel stronger if I was a fan.
Either way, I think the updated design actually does look pretty good and is probably as good as you could get for a live action/CGI Sonic film, but that's a problem in of itself. If you have to make video game films, just make them completely animated for the more cartoon-style games.

^I'm curious Adam, have you ever read the Archie version of the Sonic the Hedgehog comics?
