    I'm always checking what Mikael has to recommend since he has a music taste very similar to mine. But that doesn't really shed much light into my search, honestly. Like, I already knew that Orchid was influenced by Thin Lizzy and Wishbone Ash, as well as Iron Maiden. I won't get much in the way of "extreme metal with dual guitars" listening to Comus or Camel.

    wdym? That's exactly the sound I'm looking for! That is literally Orchid era Opeth. The only thing that's missing are the harsh vocals. There's plenty of hard rock bands with that dual guitar style, but I kind of wanted to imply that other than the riffs, it also had to be something in the extreme metal realm. Otherwise, I'm a huge fan of Wishbone Ash!
