So the website Heavy Planet released their 2013 compilation on New Years entitled "Bong Hits From the Astral Basement" (I discovered them via Stonerobixxx, another very good stoner/doom/sludge website). It's available for free download in FLAC or MP3 320 from their Bandcamp page. The compilation has 61 songs from unsigned stoner/doom/sludge metal bands, and also some psychedelic rock. I highly highly recommend it to anyone trying to get into the stoner/doom/sludge subgenre. http://heavyplanet.bandcamp.com/album/bong-hits-from-the-astral-basement Not trying to advertise, just wanting to spread the word. ------------- Metal isn't always an outlet for anger.
