Hello. I migrated here from prog archives (just a reader, not a contributer).
I am going to see Judas Priest and Thin Lizzy in 27 days and that makes me very happy.

Hi and welcome to MMA. I guess that�s Thin Lizzy with Ricki W right? I saw Thin Lizzy twice in the beginning of the new millenium with John Sykes on vocals. Great shows. Yeah, I was going to put Thin Lizzy in quotation marks as it's obviously not really Lizzy but then again Priest without KK isn't really Priest so I didn't want to get too anal about it.
I am a massive Priest fan and didn't realize Lizzy was the opener until recently so they're just icing on the cake.

Hello and welcome to MMA! I saw both Lizzy and Priest at the High Voltage Festival in London in July, if they put on a similar show you're in for a treat. (Un)fortunately I was also lucky to see them 30 years ago! Wait, fat drunk metalheads? I fit in here better than I could have hoped! ;)
I really do follow pretty much all the genres of metal (and genres of music) but my formative years were the years of thrash and especially death metal so those 2 are closest to my heart. Lately I have been delving into progressive-ish metal (checking out albums listed highly in the heavy/metal sections of prog archives).
Judas Priest, King Diamond, Slayer, Morbid Angel, and Opeth are 5 of my all-time favorites, but I can get down with almost anything from Appetite for Destruction to Ziltoid, or Accept to Zero Hour if you prefer.
I am extremely eager to check out Haken and the Arch/Matheos album.

You need to take care when UMUR is around especially when drunk. We are still recovering from the drunken, naked episode on the table in the AZ. I got inspired to get back on last.fm and my name there is buttsled if you any of y'all want to be friends.
I was on it for awhile but lost interest since I mostly listened to music at work and that wasn't being cataloged blah blah blah. Getting reminded of it by y'all made me miss it.
You can see how bizarre my tastes really are.
