I've been a big fan of these guys for a whilst, and they we're a big slap in the face to the rock world in the 90's. I always thought they were a bit like Soundgarden with a female soul singer. They even have songs where you would consider them metal, so either Hard Rock or Alternative Metal would do for these guys, here's their 2 heaviest songs I think

I listened to those, and a few others from the first album.  That one might possibly fit into alt metal (Rate Your Music tags it alt metal as a secondary tag.  I also see on wikipedia some of their stuff is labelled hard rock, so I guess they could be considered there also.  It's pretty poppy stuff too, which can distract a bit from the heaviness of the riffing.  I'll check with the hard rock team to see what they think too. Smile

I love Charlie Big Potato, and Stoosh has some really good tracks as well.

I'm undecided on these guys for alt-metal.  If more support in their favour is shown around here, I'll give them further consideration.  I'm the only member of that team as it stands, so I'm trying to be cautious these days in what is added.  More opinions are welcome. Smile

Id say Hard Rock is a better fit.

Skin also did a song called "Licking Cream" with my favorite band Sevendust. Approve

Seems this one got away.

They've been accepted for HR and will be added shortly.
