Not such a fan of metalcore. I have heard some Unearth and again, not my cup o tea. Only metalcore band I can say I really like is Shadows Fall, and I object to that classification personally. ------------- Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer and Testament. Agreed. The only metalcore band I'm a fan of really is Between the Buried and Me, and they quite obviously don't follow the conventions of metalcore. I guess Protest the Hero is great too, but I felt they defy both metal and core a lot and implement mostly post-hardcore in with their tech sound. ------------- Lost respect for these archives when I saw Creed added, among other bands. Not going to be foruming here anymore. You can keep my reviews if you want. |

Shadows Fall and Trivium are the only bands I've enjoyed so far Romania's White Walls is amazing but I would not classify them as metalcore though

I agree. There is a lot of good metalcore out there... and also some really shitty stuff. But hating metalcore just because it's metalcore is just plain stupid! -------------
