Evening all: I'm pleased to find a forum dedicated to the many permutations of metal. I'm looking forward to hearing about the newest bands and reminiscing about the founding fathers who forged the way. I grew up on Thrash and Classic, have a soft spot for Melodic Black, feel guilty about ever buying a Glam album (sorry!), and have recently discovered Mathcore. Overall I don't discriminate and will give any genre a fair opportunity for me to sit back, scratch my chin and nod 'that's so metal.' Looking forward to it.
