While music videos aren't as popular as they once were for the metal genre, I enjoy watching a lot of metal videos from the 80's and 90's. I love the cheesy ones, as well as the ones that simply show the beauty of heavy fuckin' metal. Here's some of my favorites:

What's more metal then getting your video banned from MTV?

Just brings back memories of playing Road Rash.

You thought Holy Diver was cheesy, this is 80's metal video cheese at it's finest.

And of course, this is pure art.

The only modern video in this list, Power Trip is pure old school thrash in every way. Easily my favorite modern band.

What are your favorite metal videos?

Love that video, one of the funniest metal videos along with Three Little Pigs.

Here's another one of my favorites, I'm a sucker for almost anything stop-motion:

There's not much that's better than classic Meshuggah videos:

I can't remember when I last actually watched a music video. I usually stream artists new singles via Spotify when available. If I am on YouTube I often have another tab open and am just listening to the song rather than watching the video.
