Died the same day as Prince, but I bet CNN, etc. never mentioned him. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/23/arts/music/lonnie-mack-singer-and-guitarist-who-pioneered-blues-rockdies-at-74.html?_r=0 I know he was a big influence on SRV, among others.
