Ceremony is a really beautiful and dark album with a lot of references to death. Her latest, "The Miraculous", just released this week is equally dark though less accessible than Ceremony but makes more use of her band.  A recent review in Mojo magazine called it doom metal which it isn't, though it is heavy and dark at times. I've only had chance to play it once but I'm mightily impressed so far.

She's from Gothenburg and I wouldn't be surprised if that death metal scene has influenced her in some way though she is in no way part of that scene.

Well worth checking her out.
