Slash has a successful career on his own, why don't you check it out?

I'd recommend Velvet Revolver, it's the band formed by all of the 'Appetite' G'n'R members after Axl kicked them out. I have their album 'Libertad', and it's really good.

For some reason I never got around to Libertad, but I have their debut and always enjoyed it. Liked the band more than G'n'R. to be honest.

If you want to go back to the days of GnR...

Circus of Power had the guitar and rhythm down pat
Dangerous Toys had a singer who sounded like Axl
Junkyard sounded like a bluesier version
Skid Row maybe? Definitely had a harder sound than the likes of poison.

Junkyard would be my favourite of them. Check out their self-titled debut.
