In my case, it's actually neither
. My hearing is very good, and one of my favourite singers of all time is Glenn Hughes - whose voice tends to be quite high-pitched, as I am sure you know very well. I just don't like LaBrie's style, even if on
Images and Words his vocals are tolerable in comparison to the rest of the band's output. I suppose it all boils down to personal taste.
