Anyone else know?

I think they could be included for prog metal?
From all I can tell, I think they only have one album at the moment "Blessed are the Bonds"

Lots of heavy, screaming (emotional too, but not emo) yet also lots of mellow and acoustic.
Very good stuff and I think a definite candidate for prog metal.

Also their album is available for free download.

Since they are in Experimental/Post Metal on PA, I suppose they should go either in Prog-Metal or in Avant-Metal... Any other suggestions?

[here I am with my usual, neutral statistics] Most common tag in last.fm is "post-metal", then "post-rock". The band doesn't appear in EM. Their own MySpace says "metal" along with "ambient". RYM tags them as "post-rock", "post-hardcore".

Edit: Damn, the thing with the "the"s makes the search hard here. :-D

I say we keep them in avant or move them to sludge/post. They're not first and foremost a prog metal band IMO.

I think avant-metal definitely suits them the best.

I suggested them here, but I probably should have made a thread on MMA as well. LOL

Wah? I did a search for them and didn't find anything?
Embarrassed
I was thinking avant metal is the best fit that appears to be their tag

Well then...

They may or may not be avant/garde or prog metal, but I'm just chiming in that most experimental/post metal bands on PA would probably fit best here in sludge/post metal or doom metal.
Lost respect for these archives when I saw Creed added, among other bands. Not going to be foruming here anymore. You can keep my reviews if you want.

I added them to avant when Matt suggested them in the Shred Room on PA; Blessed Are The Bonds is more like avant-metal with classical influences, and their first album (Nouvea) is hardcore based, although has some avant elements and some post-rock elements too.

I personally think they should stay in avant; but I'm open to discussion.
