I ran across this band named Charlotte that apparently was part of the LA scene back in 1987.  They just released their debut album in April 2010 titled Medusa Groove.  Their label describes them as influenced by Great White, Guns N' Roses and Led Zeppelin.  It sounds like they might fit glam metal, but they also may just be melodic hard rock or arena rock.  Could I get a second pair of ears to give them a listen and see what your thoughts are before I add them?  Thanks.  Here is their MySpace page.  http://www.myspace.com/charlottelamusic
And here is their label page http://nightmarerecords.com/NMR/index.php?page=shop.product_details&category_id=2&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=643&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=5

That's pretty odd for a band to release a debut album 23 years after they started.  I guess stranger things have happened. LOL

i guess Charlotte belongs to glam metal, although they're quite bluesy, and yes the comparison to Great white and led zeppelin i guess is acceptable.

usually bands like this that was signed to labels such as eonian, perris, deadline, etc, has materials recorded 20 years ago but didn't resurface until discovered by those labels, so the actual fact is they probably didn't record this in 2009-2010, but was shelved off and remastered again :)
