Hellooo! Some of you know me from PA as AmericanProgster. I decided I needed a name change, I've recently had this overwhelming need to fly Blue Cheer's colors soo...I might just be as annoying as I am on PA...
Anyways I'm mostly a fan of late 60s-70s metal such as: Blue Cheer Sir Lord Baltimore Sainte Anthony's Fyre Sabbath (of course) Silver Metre (and anything Leigh Stephens for that matter) More recent metal groups I enjoy are: Alice in Chains Cathedral Korn Static-X but mostly anything in the Stoner/Doom Metal genre always lifts the spirits. Thanks everybody for the welcome! Although so far I have to admit that I'm a little discouraged from coming here.
*Warning! Rant Mode Activated!* I mean, I'm a little dumb-founded that Blue Cheer is considered "too controversial at the moment" for MMA...Really?! They were doing this in 1967! 3 years before Sabbath! Vincebus Eruptum and OutsideInside are two of the heaviest albums from that time! But fine, let's ignore their first two albums for the sake of argument. Between 1983-2007, they released 4 studio albums that can be easily classified as traditional heavy metal! So I fail to see where the "controversy" is or why there's so much doubt. But fine, I'll drop it and see what happens and try to enjoy the rest of this site. *Rant Mode Deactivated* Sorry for that, couldn't help but complain! Hey everybody!! Catcher10 here from PA also....Figured it was well time I joined this site.....Been visiting for about 2 months, just never got around to registering. Few days off from work so gave me time to login. Didn't change my name...other than my avatar. I'm not smart enough to remember which name would belong to what site.....better keep it the same.
