I had very low expectations after a listen to the new album singles, but so it happened that 72 Seasons is now my favorite Metallica album since Load (which I love) or even since Justice. Super solid stuff from beginning to end.

Death Magnetic had good bits here and there but horrible production, and Hardwired suffered from some sub-par songs in the second half.

I haven´t listened to the first two since I reviewed them some years back, and I haven´t gathered the interest to check out the new one yet, so I can´t vote in this poll.

I'd probably agree with you there. 72 seasons is my favourite too though Hardwired is a close second.

Death Magnetic. I really don't like the two which have followed.

I enjoyed all three, but I've voted for Death Magnetic.

Death Magnetic. Bad production apart, I think it's an excellent album!
