A lot of people were disappointed when Kill came out (myself included): |

I sorta like some of the old CC artwork.
These are pretty cool (and disgusting ): And yeah, Kill is pretty awful. Some of the worst "artwork" I've ever seen... Looks like something for a single release or a bootleg. |

Hey, album cover art is not only awesome but can be a great way to sum your album in one display.

Not Metal but I have to post this because it is one of my all time favorite covers, period.
Seriously! This may be darker than 95% of all metal covers out there. You guys have the classic metal feel down, so how bout something a little different? Oceanic by Isis. I love this cover. Powerful in its simplicity. And when you think about it, pretty metal. What is more vast and heavy than the ocean!? Edited by The Angry Scotsman - 01 Feb 2011 at 3:39am |

Anyone notice a prominent theme? |

Lost respect for these archives when I saw Creed added, among other bands. Not going to be foruming here anymore. You can keep my reviews if you want.

Love those two as well, Morningrise is probably my favorite cover of Opeth's, along with Still Life.

Lots of awesome covers here, I would also like to agree w/ what someone said, that Dan Seagrave's are usually good!!
Black metal bands, it would seem, almost always have killer ones... gotta love that one by Emperor[their first]. There was one I saw by some other band, forget what they're called, but it had two muppets on the cover w/ one say "I'm going to kill myelf." Highly amusing! |
