Sat on a risk meeting call explaining to some poor guy in Pittsburgh that he's done an unneccesary bit of process reengineering, and some young lad in Pune (India) that he's going to give me a heart attack if he doesn't slow down. Think I upset them both

Just relaxing, before I cook dinner for the Family and my daughter´s friend, who is sleeping over, and then I´ll go to a football match on the local stadium with some of my mates. Friday nights don´t come much better than that

Well good luck with that one. My team has just sacked its manager today and we've a game tomorrow. We (Bolton Wanderers) are already adrift in the relegation zone of the second division (we came down from teh top flight three years ago now). When asked whether he could get us out of our predicament the to-be-sacked manager said, "we've tried attacking the opposition and we aren't very good at that, we've tried defending and can't do that very well, so we're in trouble with the players we've got". He had to go!

I do know Bolton Wanderers pretty well. I´ve followed the Premier League for years and the Championship too to some degree. I believe you´ve had a couple of Danish player in your Club throughout the years. As far as I remember both Per Frandsen, Michael Johansen (his twin Brother Martin played in Lyngby for a couple of years) and of course Claus Jensen (who played in Lyngby when he was Young and broke through) all played for Bolton.

I'm seriously impressed. We went through a period of taking on a number of Danish and Icelandic players. Per, Michael and Claus were all bona-fide heroes over here. Per played for us twice. Michael Johansen was only a skinny lad for a viking, but he could dribble up and down that wing all game without pause for breath. Claus was a top-notch midfielder we had for a couple of seasons before the attractions of London saw him move on. I'd love to have those days back!
